Our Picnic with the Goats was as always amazing. The visitors loved spending time with the Herd. Even though Ivy was pinned up in the Mother Stall, because we were expecting her to go into labor that day. Everybody that came was able to ask questions about the Goats, Veggies, and even the Bees. If you missed it, no worry, we will have another one in a couple of months. The next morning, at 2 am, Ivy gave birth to Rosemary and Wolfgang. Just like all of our little kids, these too are absolutely adorable and healthy. Only couple of minutes after they were born, they stood up and started to feed on Mommy. You will be able to enjoy them at the next Picnic with the Goats. BTW: both of these cuties are named after both my Parents that are cheering Grumpy Goat and me on from Heaven.

D’or and the Nippular BiasApril 15, 2019
On March 27th at 8:00PM we welcomed little baby D’or into our loving Farm. Chanel did a great job during the birth, even though she needed assistance from our friend Gina and the Goat Lady! D’or is the smallest kid on Cajun Corral Farm, but she doesn’t let her size stop her from being the center of attention. She is spoiled rotten, and we are definitely to blame for that. As soon as we step foot into the barn, she’s jumping all over us, begging to be snuggled and, of course, we are more than happy to oblige! D’or keeps her mama busy as she has TONS of energy! When she’s not being cuddled, she’s bouncing and exploring all over the place with her BFF Fluffy the Chicken. Yes... you read that right, for whatever reason, the two have taken a liking to each other, Fluffy and D’or even sleep together at night! During my favorite time of the day, feeding time, D’or drinks her mommy’s yummy and nutritious milk. However, she is beginning to nibble on hay! Sigh, they grow up so fast! Funny fact, D’or has acquired a special taste for her mommy’s right nipple, refusing to drink from the left one! We’ve had to start milking the left side of Chanel otherwise she goes lopsided! Silly goat! As always, there’s never a dull moment at Cajun Corral Farm! Till next time, Sassy Goat x All of our products are designed, developed and created right here on our Mini Farm. Production starts with the care of our goats where we feed them high quality food and give them even higher quality snuggles. After we collect our milk, it's back to the house, where we create our beautiful and unique products.
Why Goat Milk? Not only is our skincare line alcohol fee, it is also packed full of amazing, rejuvenating, anti-aging elements! Where do these miracle ingredients come from, you ask? Goat Milk, of course! Goat milk is the main component of all our products and contains ingredients that naturally target our main skincare concerns! First, Alpha Hydroxide aids in gentle exfoliation of the skin, getting rid of all your dead skin cells. Second, Selenium allows the healing of skin cells that have been damaged from the sun's harmful UV rays. Lastly, Vitamin A and D work together to promote new skin cell growth resulting in fresher, younger, better looking skin. Not to mention, your new, healthy skin will be able to heal itself quicker than before. In addition to ALL this, goat milk has natural moisturization properties. Combine this with the lack of alcohol in our products, and your skin will be left feeling hydrated and silky smooth. As you use our products, you will find that your skin feels Cleaner, Softer, and Protected from the Harmful Environment. Why Cajun Corral? Our products are special because we know exactly where our milk comes from; our own happy, healthy goats. Other businesses will use powdered goat milk, bases (no telling what is inside), or even pasteurized goat milk from the store? We can ensure quality because we control the purity of every ingredient that we add to our products, this makes us unique. |
