Dances With Fairies
The Dances with Fairies body wash is a lilac scent, but to me it smells a little like baby powder. It helps with deep meditation and relaxation with its light fresh smell. It can also help with decreasing anxiety. The goats milk in this product helps keep your skin soft and fresh while healing at the same time. We have the lotion to match. I am also currently using the lotion. I love the way both products make my skin look and feel.
Tiny Fur Ball
Tiny is growing like a weed. She is about 6 weeks old now and doing great with momma Anna. She used to sleep under the small trampoline but she is now too big. She has so much energy and loves showing off. She likes to get a running start then jumps or bounces off of something. She also likes being around the big girls, even if they bully her sometimes. She doesn't like to be picked up, but loves to snuggle next to you. She is just a Tiny Fur Ball of Joy!
Unique Goat Milk Body Wash
I started using the unique goat milk body wash about 3 months ago. YES! My bottle of body wash lasted me 3 months. I am just now buying a replacement. I love its delicate scent and how soft it makes my skin. I recently went on vacation and decided to skip bringing the body wash and that was a bad idea. My skin was rough and dry from being on the beach and in the sun for hours. When I got home and used my goat milk body wash again, I was so happy. It instantly softened my skin and gave me a nice glow with my tan. I will NEVER skip my special body wash again!
Grumpy Goat Bug Away
With summer quickly approaching in the South, mosquitoes are coming back out in a hurry. I recently got the pleasure to try Grumpy Goat's Bug Away. I cannot stand bug spray. I hate the way it smells and how sticky it makes my skin feel. The bug away made by the Goat Lady is very light in fragrance and it is not sticky at all. It is also safe for children and dogs. It is alcohol free and made with a special blend of essential oils. There is also a dash of Florida water to help keep you cool. I put it on one morning before cleaning the barn and went to work as usual. It wasn't until that evening I realized how well this bug spray works. I forgot to put it on for the evening feeding on the farm and I was constantly swatting around like a crazy person. Not a single bug bothered me when I had the spray on during the morning cleaning. It was amazing and I cannot wait to use the bug spray this summer on myself and kids.
Little Miss Tiny
Here is the newest addition to the farm, Tiny. She has been adopted by Anna, who has been an amazing mom to her so far. As you can see in the pictures, she really is very tiny. I thought I lost her one morning. I was calling for her and looking all over the momma area and started to panic. Finally, I decided to look under the small trampoline and that's where I found her, napping (picture below). She doesn't sit still for long and loves bouncing everywhere she goes. She loves to snuggle and get head scratches. I cannot wait to see her personality develop more. I have a feeling she is going to rule the farm one day and probably really soon.
Sassy Goat Eye Cream
Did you know that goats milk is amazing for the skin on your face? It is so gentle that it helps to calm troubled skin. It is great for all skin types and has plenty of benefits including boosting moisture levels, repairing the skin's barrier, preventing fine lines/wrinkles, and reducing acne and redness. Our Sassy Goat Eye Cream is an amazing product that helps your skin look brighter and younger. It was specifically developed to help make tired eyes look fresh, make swelling of the eyes go down, and to help fade away wrinkles. And with only 6 ingredients, this product is very smooth and light weight. The eye cream is not the only facial item we carry, we also have facial wash, masks, and lip balms. You may also want to check out our Oatmeal Sugar Scrub. I promise you will not be disappointed. And all products smell amazing.
All is Well on the Farm
Everyone on the farm is doing very well. The triplets keep growing and finding new ways to irritate the older goats. They are still jumping on and off things like adrenaline junkies. Makes me and "Goat Lady" so nervous to watch. Rosemary has become their little teacher and she enjoys spending time with them. The mamma's on the farm are spending their time together during cold weather helping each other stay warm. Anna doesn't even mind that Dior joins them. And we are still patiently waiting for Chanel to go into labor. We keep saying "any day now" but she replies with "yeah but not today" with just one look in her eyes. Can't wait to see what the up coming weeks has to offer on the farm. New baby/babies maybe just in time for our goat picnic? One can only hope.
Let's check in on our billy goats. Pepe has been spending plenty of time on the boys side and is doing great learning how to Billy Goat. It's fun to watch the older 2 goats show Pepe the ropes. The oldest, Beaux, is great at trying to teach him how to "play" head butting. He is gentle with his teachings, barely tapping Pepe's horns. However, Bleaux being a teenager makes him a little more rough. But that doesn't stop him from trying to join in on teaching Pepe how to goat. Bleaux knows that if he steps out of line and gets too rough with Pepe, then Beaux will step in and adjust the situation. It is fun watching these 3 grow together.
Now we have the last but not least of the triplets, Danielle (Dani). She is our other twin and looks so much like her sister in the face. And she stares you down when she is up to no good, just like her mom. She is by far the best snuggler out of the bunch. She will sit in your lap and expect you to rub her back the whole entire time. If you dare to stop, she doesn't hesitate to head butt you to let you know that is the wrong thing to do. Often times I have Clarice climbing on my back, with Dani in my lap, while Dom is out exploring. It is never a dull moment here on this awesome little mini farm.
We are focusing on Dominique this week. She is one of the "twins" out of the triplets. She has more brown on her back making it a little bit easier to tell her apart from Danielle. We gave her the right name out of the bunch. She is proving to be the dominant one and we often call her Dom. Even though she likes snuggles, you can often find her alone exploring. She is very curious and funny. She likes to think that it is no big deal to be alone, but when she realizes she can't see or find her sisters she starts calling out for them. And when she decides it's time for attention she is not afraid to knock her sisters out of the way, proving once again her dominant side.
